Wythe Moleskin Magnolia Jacket Faded Black

The Magnolia Jacket is one we've been looking forward to for a long time. Originally planned to release alongside our Quilted Hunting Jacket, we wanted another piece in our mid-weight jacket lineup. The Mag features a beautiful array of pocket detailing and front/back yokes, following the same lines which boasts a cohesive shape and gives off some sharpness to an otherwise round silhouette. The Mag sits somewhere between a flight jacket, coaches jacket, blouson, and whatever other shorter jackets you can dream up.

One of our favorite fabric developments of the collection, this heavyweight cotton moleskin comes from the same mill that makes our Donegal Corduroy. By this point in our relationship with the mill, they know what we're after in handfeel. We liked this moleskin weight not only for the durability and softness, but also how it takes (or doesn't) take dye. We garment dyed the moleskin Mags and gave them a thorough wash, which gives a beautiful range of highs and lows in the jacket - some areas, like the seams and edges, lose the dye a bit more than the rest of the body, which gives our signature vintage look and feel.
